Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Both Wendy and Graham were so friendly and very attentive without being too much. There really is not a single negative I could mention. Such a wonderful location, the hut itself has everything you could need, the shower was spacious, the bed was oh so comfortable and the decking was beautiful to sit out on both during the day and at night with the fire pit going strong. Already booked for another break away!

A spacious and peaceful setting, fully equipped with everything we needed. The food and drink essentials was a nice touch. A great spot within the camp itself and not too far from facilities. The outdoor space was a bonus, plus it felt secure being gated. Comfortable beds and towels provided, plus an attentive host.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The lodge has everything you might need for a relaxing break, is very clean and tastefully decorated and is set in idyllic surroundings. We loved that getting to Bewl Water edge was a pleasant twenty minutes walk away. The hosts do things properly and the attention to detail makes a difference. Looking forward to visiting again.
The Love Nest was warm, cosy and so romantic. Lovely setting to explore the local area with our dog and a delicious dinner in the pub. An absolutely perfect getaway.
Lovely and quirky rooms with everything you could need from an armchair to biscuits; friendly staff; great breakfast (both continental and cooked) and pub; warm and cozy open fire; village and countryside walks (both through muddy fields and along country lanes) around.
I had mentioned that we were there for our wedding anniversary, I didn't even say it was our silver one, and they upgraded us to a beautiful lodge for the night. We were delighted by this kindness.
The food was great, my husband was really impressed by the veggie breakfast, he said he'd never eaten such a good one, high praise from him! We ate there in the evening and the dinner was lovely too. There's a lovely peaceful friendly atmosphere here, the staff are charming, and it feels welcoming and relaxed.
We loved everything about the property. Beautiful surrounding countryside, Ann & Ian the hosts are so warm & friendly, and the cottage is lovely. Everything we needed was there , including a fresh baked loaf, cup cakes, and milk eggs and bacon in the fridge! absolutely spotless throughout . Ann & Ian made us so welcome, so much so we are returning in September !
Loved the wooden Lodge. Cosy, was a little cold on arrival , but soon warmed up after turning on the radiator. Quiet location, with lots nearby shops/pubs etc. Would definitely return.
