Location was brilliant to just stroll into Thirsk or the very good crown and anchor pub, the also good Fish n chip shop, but mostly the reason we were there was it was 15 minute walk to the brilliant Thirsk racecourse.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Nothing to like, when we arrived we were told it wasn't available as it wasn't meant to be let out, someone else was already there and the other cottages weren't available as hadn't been cleaned
