I absolutely loved this cottage it is so quaint and well maintained. The area of Christleton is one of the nicest villages just outside Chester.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

It was in a quiet rural area which was fairly easy to get to though public transport would not really be useful. The WiFi was excellent, the bed was clean and comfortable, and there was ample tea and coffee provided for the next morning. The view of the sun setting from the room was also absolutely lovely!

Quiet location, beautiful house, lovely garden and excellent host
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The garden is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting at the top for my cuppas and looking at the view. It’s a very relaxing place to stay, and it’s lovely to look outside the patio doors to see the lovely water feature. We’ve booked again for feb, and I’d absolutely love to see the garden in spring/summer, so we will definitely be booking for that season too! The bread left was delicious!! Lovely place to stay! The cottage was beautiful and clean, and I can’t wait to stay again! Thank you :)
Fabulous accommodation. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be, warm, clean, and had all the little touches that helped make it very special.. The garden was exceptional, as was the food left for our breakfasts. Jill, the host, was extremely friendly.

It was a pleasure to meet them. The garden was a lovely spot to sit in and enjoy the countryside view. The Smithy is a lovely, cosy, comfortable place to relax in and had everything we needed and more!
