Beeswing, a Victorian Gem in Biggar, hotel in Symington

Located in Biggar, 44 km from EICC, Beeswing, a Victorian Gem in Biggar provides recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a garden.

The property was in an excellent location with on street parking right outside. It was clean and beautiful inside. The property owner was amazing. Some lovely treats left for our arrival. All the facilities were superb and the property had everything needed and more for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was the ideal location for attending a wedding at Cornhill castle. Even though the property is on the high street there was no noise from traffic. I would highly recommend this holiday home and if ever visiting biggar again wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again. Thank you to the host for everything!

The location was beautiful, the facilities and little touches such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk were really helpful after a long day travelling. The stream out the back was lovely. Pond Cottage is a holiday home is situated on the Carmichael Estate, 8 km from Biggar and is 46 km from Edinburgh. The property boasts views of the lochan and is 45 km from Glasgow.

Great location in a peaceful place, a mile from the road in the woods. All facilities as described and once you've found the cottage (the directions are good) I found it just perfect. Very quite and plenty of places to walk around the woods. The roads around are all country roads but not that much traffic which was a bonus. Really enjoyed my stay.

I love this quirky hotel in the magical countryside of South Lanarkshire. Decor and furnishing choices in the rooms can be a bit strange, but all the better after the endless Holliday Inns and other chains. The staff are real people, each of them different, and there is a bit of a buzz about the place that the coach parties add to rather than spoil. The Grand Staircase with the stained glass is straight out of Agatha Christie. Go Tinto !

The hotel is decorated in a traditional country house style but with extra finishing touches making it feel special but still welcoming. The room and bed are large and very comfortable, just what was needed after a long drive. The waitress/receptionist on the Saturday we arrived was working alone and busy but was very friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's incredibly new, clean, and cozy. I loved the color scheme and the ambiance - it really added to the overall experience. My absolute favorite part of the stay was the dining experience. The meals were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. The attention to detail and the quality of the food were outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience during my stay.
