It was very clean and the owner was very polite and friendly. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the location is brilliant. Close to the castle and to the bars and shops short walk away. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful home, very clean throughout and had everything we could possibly need for our stay and more! Beds were very comfortable, rooms all smelt lovely, little chocolates on the bedside tables. Kids loved our little stay and the owner was lovely and couldn't be more helpful and kind. Even little sweetie bags for my girls. Would highly recommend and will stay again when visiting area.

Squirrel Barn is a fun and eccentric place which genuinely caters to the whole family (and more!). It is a beautiful old building filled with anything and everything you could think of, with wonderful little touches and a really warm feeling. We were in the area to visit Alton Towers and to be honest we had just as much fun at Squirrel Barn! The owners are fantastic - friendly, accommodating and excellent at contact. We booked at the Boars Head as we were attending a wedding at the (very upmarket) Grangefields a few miles away. The Boars Head was excellent. In particular the staff were, without exception, charming, proactive and helpful; while the food, especially from the Specials Menu, was innovative and beautifully cooked. We would certainly stay at the Boars Head again if visiting that part of the country.

Quaint, cosy, clean fantastic location. Really liked the fact of having own private little garden area, including own little path. Perfect in every way.
Lovely presented caravan with lots of character. Adequate space for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Cozy and welcoming. Lovely surroundings, peaceful and quiet. Excellent helpful hosts. Toilet and shower facilities in log cabins adjacent to the caravan.
