This was a stunning property and had everything we needed and more. It is extremely high spec, comfortable and homely. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole home was immaculate. The best place we have stayed.

A home away from home. All the little touches like milk and biscuits were very welcomed and a lovely surprise. Very peaceful stay, we will definitely be back!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
It was an awful room. Should be condemned, not rented out. I intend to lodge a complaint when I get home. I did discuss complaints process with staff who agreed room disgusting and said I needed to complain online.
On arrival we were asked if we needed to travel southbound (we did) and were given a very helpful map with a clear explanation of how to follow it. We were then asked where exactly we were travelling to for our event - and shown on Google maps the best way to get there. This was quite superb service and way beyond our expectations. The room itself was better equipped than other 'lodge' chains, we particularly appreciated having a sofa and coffee table which made the room feel more like home.
Comfortable beds clean and well appointed room best hotel stay we have had in the UK so far more comfortable than travel lodge and better value for money
The lodge is adequate ,although starting to look a bit tired.
Ideal location easy to get to access good.
