We appreciated the location, close to lots of hiking and Balmoral Castle. It had plenty of beds and was spacious. The owner was responsive and kind, especially when a piece of lost luggage was delivered after our stay. She was helpful in coordinating getting the item back to us! The house also had a clothes dryer which we really enjoyed!

Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. They came during the storm with fresh bread etc. Sadly there was storm forecast and the owners wouldn’t refund or transfer the stay prior to us arriving. This was a bit unfair as balmoral and other places we had planned to visit were closed due to the amber weather warning. We couldn’t go out from the property. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable.
