Amberley Castle is one of the most special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The castle is beautiful, the rooms exceptionally comfortable & clean. With only 19 rooms it was never overcrowded so there was always a comfortable sofa to relax on, in one of the three lounges. The dinner was excellent, an unusual & varied "tasting menu" with a wide choice of wines. The staff in every area are friendly & helpful.

Rooms clean and welcoming. Lovely clean towels. Facilities had fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchen sink, hairdryer in each room. Thankful for milk in fridge too. Rooms are not interconnected but are separate rooms next to each other. Nice garden area and patio with shared drive with owners house next door, accessible electric car plug point available. Able to shut gates and block bottom so our dogs could run around in garden which they enjoyed too. Remote location but close access to A roads so restaurants, shops and coast all easily accessed. Nice walk up farm lane over fields near old Windmill. Great was dog friendly.

Just great. A perfect country bolthole, hidden away in the perfect scenery. Watching cows and sheep pass your window was incredible and the free wine was a touch.

Fantastic little cottage in a peaceful location and great views. Was perfectly located for a Wedding we attended at Southlands Barn and a short drive away from shops/supermarket. The cottage had everything we needed and the check in and check out process was really easy. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Location was perfect for us to visit family. The accommodation was stunning and cosy with a small private outside seating area. However, the garden was amazing and a joy to explore and sit in. It was like walking around a National Trust garden. Hosts friendly and informative. Would definitely try and stay again when we next visit the area. A***
The location of the property really is in a beautiful and tranquil setting and the accommodation is of a very high standard, warm and cosy. The hosts Jenny and Andy were most accommodating, welcoming and friendly.
It was lovely to be welcomed in person. The space is perfect for a weekend escape. We were so impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was - it was like home from home. The hosts even supplied bathroom supplies, and all the little touches were wonderful. The only thing we really had to provide was food, everything else had been thought of. The barn is cosy and welcoming, and has been thoughtfully furnished.
Wonderful oasis in a great location! Everything you would need has been thought of. Cosy and clean interior and a veranda to sit on while you enjoy a view of the pond and watch the birds and squirrels. Bed was so comfy too! Oh and the shower is amazing!
Excellent cosy accommodation. Lovely living room / bedroom with a well ( but unneeded by me ) equipped kitchen and a wonderful shower. Normally stop in hotels but this made an excellent change for me. Also ideal for a week away for a couple. Host was very welcoming.
