A gem of a place in the Welsh countryside. Quiet and peaceful and a stunning little conversion. Monmouth only a few miles down the road, a great pub within walking distance and a local gin distillery which is definitely worth a visit. The property was warm, smart, comfortable and the owners went out of their way to add the little extras such as dog treats, dog towells and a dog bed. Our pack has never been so chilled. Enclosed garden is enclosed which was great for us and just down the road, if you have a reactive dog, there are secure dogs fields. Lots to explore in the local area. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

A Simple check in with clear instructions. The summerhouse was clean and tidy and in great order, a great night sleep in a quiet location and within mere miles from some amazing walks and hikes in the wye valley. Plenty of amenities and the stack of biscuits were appreciated 😀

The whole cabin is beautiful, really cosy, garden is really nice..has a bbq option available. If you want to do star gazing, astrophotography , night wildlife photography (can't say anything about day time photography, because I went into symonds Yat Rock for that which is only around 5 mile away) , tea, coffee, hot chocolate including milk was provided, along with some condiments (salt, pepper, mixed spice, ketchup, brown sauce, even oil) sound owner. Really nice place, I'd be more than happy to book there again.

Cosy cottage in a very peaceful location in a forested area. Large bathroom with hot shower and bath. Bed reasonably comfortable. We walked to Trellech and Tintern from the cottage with the aid of a very useful OS map provided by the owner. The autumn colours en route were a wonderful sight. Trellech has a very friendly village pub and the Abbey Mill in Tintern serves lovely coffee and cakes. Both Monmouth and Chepstow are within easy reach by car.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
