The staff were so helpful, welcoming and friendly, we were treated like kings during our stay. The food was very nice with a broad comforting menu and the rooms had a really lovely airy feel to them. And even though the weather outside was so grim and cold, we were toasty inside our cabin. A great night's sleep in a beautiful place.

The Parrett is really quaintly decorated & cosy. The whole area is clean & tidy. The room was comfortable & the veggie breakfast was yummy. We were the only guests, but for the effort they put in for us, you'd have thought the hotel was full. We're going back next March for 2 nights this time.

The owners are brilliant, lovely cosy warm feel, attention to detail with a log fireplace in the bar. The authenticity of this hotel oozes the moment you walk through the door. You know you’re in the countryside when you stay at this place, although not secluded it gives you a real serine feel.

It's a really lovely cottage so I don't know why they don't put many photos up on the booking site. We enjoyed a lovely generous welcome pack including bread and scones.
