Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Wow what a hidden gem! We loved the entire trip, the cottage was lovely with incredible views, and lovely hosts with great attention to detail, providing lots of info for day trips. Perfect location for some personal space and not too far from where we wanted to go and see in the Lakes. We will be definitely be back!!
What a lovely cottage, the outside does not do it justice for how spacious it is. The location was very quiet and a huge space over the rail tracks where you can go for a walk, ideal for a dog. The property was clean, netflix was on the TV which was a nice bonus!! Hope to visit again!!! The views behind are stunning.
Cottage was clean and very comfortable and warm. The property was much better than the photos taken, kitchen was spacious, living room was cosy. Heated floors in the bathroom was amazing! The fireplace was out of use due to a leak in the chimney however Lucy the host let us know prior to our arrival which appreciated so was not a problem to us. You have access to an Amazon fire stick and they also set up the tv with a Netflix account so you could still use even if you didn’t have a Netflix account which was a really nice touch!
