Nice and quiet location. It would have been great to see the stars if it a clear sky. Loved having the cards and board games, and the lighting was great. Really clean, and the shower was great.

We have been to the chicken shed 4 times now and every single time we come we are just as blown away as the first time we came. It really is our happy place and we always feel so relaxed and at home during our stay. We can’t wait to come back for a fifth time!

This is a superb little place, right on the edge of Pendle Hill with stunning views to the east. The room itself was nicely laid out with everything you would need for a short stay.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The little touches that were left like tea, coffee, sugar, tin foil.
As shops are far away and if we needed any thing the owner was at hand.
Main bedroom very spacious
Single room very cosy and quirky. Great storage
Cosy and quirky. Amazing hosts and made the effort to come and say hello when we arrived and make sure we had everything we needed and to let them know if we needed anything. Beautiful cottage and everything you needed and more.
Beautiful rural location. Amazing views. Very comfortable bed, hot shower and excellent kitchen. The weather was so good we were outside all day and didn’t use the upstairs loft room at all - but would be very cosy for a winter stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Dale House - the location was very scenic, and within good distance to lots of great walks. The room and house itself was very, clean, cosy and welcoming. The food by Dominique was top-notch restaurant standard, and we had a an all-round great couple of days. Some recommended walks from Dominique were also an added bonus, as we got to explore the local landscape and some very picturesque routes!
Absolutely gorgeous property with delightful hosts. The bedroom was comfortable and cosy, breakfast exceptional and the evening meals were amazing, all local and homemade produce cooked by a very skilled chef. Cannot recommend it enough.
