The cottage is in a lovely location. The cottage itself is perfect for a family of 4 for a trip away. The hosts were on hand for any information or help but you couldn't ask for any more information the host was excellent with advice of the local area and further. We loved that it was in the middle of nowhere with very little noise and light pollution.
The cottage was surprisingly spacious and cosy.

We loved our stay at the Cumbrian Lodge. Angela and Paul were so welcoming and accommodating for us.
We came to climb Scafell Pike and Angela kindly provided us a packed breakfast for the hike. The room was cosy and clean with a nice hot shower to use at the end of a long hike. A great location in Seascale with a short walk to the train station and the Co-Op was just down the road.
I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks Angela and Paul, I hope you had a lovely anniversary weekend!

Great Hosts - very accomodating, welcoming and communicated well before & throughout the duration of our stay.
Lovely Cottage - a great size with everything you need for a few days away and the bonus of having a hot tub to relax in too.
Hot tub, fireplace, upstairs bedrooms, spacious cottage, privacy, well equipped kitchen, washing machine. Beach that was so close to the cottage, only 40mins away..It was such a lovely stay with the family, thank you.
