Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This is a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean, spacious, bright and well furnished. It felt homely. The kitchen seemed to be well equipped and there was plenty of toilet roll in the bathroom. The long garden was a surprise! We were staying for a family wedding at Wyresdale Weddings. The cottage is in a very pretty village. The owner responded quickly to any questions. Would love to stay here again.
Excellent accommodation, very spacious and well appointed. Two very large bedrooms and the en-suite even had a sauna. Lovely courtyard to sit and relax and the owner was very approachable and helpful. Easy to go to Lancaster, Garstang and the Trough of Bowland and 30 minutes to the Lakes. Would we stay again? Absolutely !!
A stunning lodge in a peaceful location near a lovely village. Loved the modern bathroom and kitchen with views out to the enclosed garden which our dog loved. The bed was very comfortable and there is underfloor heating throughout. Would highly recommend this lodge.
The property was a great size and very luxurious. I absolutely loved the styling of the studio, it was stunning. It’s a perfect romantic get away for a couple. It was dog friendly too which was great. Lots of nice dog walks nearby and the village of scorton was a short walk away for breakfast/lunch.

Such a little gem of a place in a gorgeous village. It’s very quirky and we felt very relaxed here. Room was lovely and Cosy, staff very attentive. Bed was comfy and the best breakfast in a long time !
The lodge was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for our stay. The host was very helpful with directions to the property which is off the beaten track a bit ( which we like). A very relaxing place to stay with lots of lovely places to walk to nearby.
Lovely spacious room (apartment) close to M6. Superb self catering kitchen area. Fabulous breakfast in the attached cafe. Whilst we only stayed for the night, the surrounding countryside looked lovely for walks. Located in a lovely picturesque village.
