The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.
St Petroc’s barns are just 10 minutes from the area commonly known as seven bays for seven days in the Wadebridge/Padstow area of Cornwall. The convertedbarns also feature free WiFi.

The property was very clean and the bed was really comfortable with a good quality mattress. Good mixture of soft and firm. The little sofa was great with the added bonus of foot stools. Place was very quiet and felt very secure with the car being in an undercover car port and double gates closed. Loved the added touches of the welcome basket and free loan of beach equipment (windbreak, buckets and spades, etc). The location was perfect for travelling to local beaches and my favourite place, Padstow. Hosts met us at the gate and said hi if we saw them but didn’t intrude in anyway. Great place for a few days away to recharge the batteries.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The garden is private with views over the countryside. A great getaway which is in easy driving distance to many beaches and attractions.

The hideout had everything we needed and more to make the weekend the relaxing break we needed. The hosts thought every detail through. The location was excellent just a short walk from the town and the beaches.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
location, size, hot tub, lovely hosts, everything you needed and more was at the cottage. loved the attention to detail (dressing gown, slippers, Prosecco in the fridge!), absolutely perfect, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Accommodation is situated in a lovely part of the countryside with views across fields in every direction lovely environment to relax in. Quiet country roads but in easy reach of stunning coastline, good for walking and visiting local villages and towns.
There was onsite safe area for exercising our dog.
Owner left milk in fridge for us and a box of Cornish biscuits, there was information on local activities and places of interest.
The cottage was exactly what we wanted, well equipped, warm, clean and hassle free. We stayed over the Xmas week and found that Nancy had even gone to the trouble of putting decorations up!
