The hotel is amazing, beautiful views and gardens to stroll round, even a croquet lawn. Decor is very period which we like. The room we had was fantastic with a roll top bath overlooking the fields. Room was named Max. We had the pool, sauna and steam to ourselves which was lovely.

The cottage is beautifully finished and immaculately kept, with everything you could possibly require provided for your stay. Pamela, Martin and Mabel are delightful - they really could not have done any more to ensure we had a wonderful break. We very much hope to return to Apple Tree Cottage in the near future.
