The remote location was great, new places to discover, to have an entire cottage was wonderful, it's a very cosy home. Over 4 days/3 nights we ventured out for just 4 hours plus one evening meal at the local pub (which we can also recommend) and staying in (whilst it rained horizontally) was so enjoyable in this cosy cottage, we loved it. Next time, I'll get around to lighting the log burner just for the experience.
Great location, a short walk from Reeth and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nice and quiet. Plenty of room in the house and the kitchen was perfect to be used as a hub for meals etc. Plenty of parking and outside space. Main lounge was cosy and big enough to accommodate everyone. Great facilities as there was a fully equipped kitchen and utility room. Hot tub was private.
Loved the cosy cottage - great views and just what we needed as a base for a short stay in the Dales. Bottle of fizz and coffee pods plus crisps was a lovely touch. Great views from the little sitting room. Nice outdoor space and very dog friendly.
