It has a lovely cosy bar in a friendly welcome. Unfortunately for the staff they were under a lot of stress because the previous owners had left them in the lurch and taken by the sounds of it quite a few items which left I’m struggling. But I did an amazing job make everything as comfortable as possible.

Idyllic classic country pub/inn. New owners have done a great job, the atmosphere very friendly, well supported by regulars. The rooms decorated simply but tastefully, lovely breakfast, and a pleasure to spend time in. Perfectly located for Hidcote gardens and other Cotswold favourite attractions. Will return

Hotel is having new management. They opened only recently in a romantic, quiet, rural village. Great pub. We enjoyed our stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and tidy. Tv areal connection was not working properly but we are sure they will sort this out shortly.

The host were amazingly kind and friendly with us, they gave us suggestions in the area and very attentive. Their prepared us home made English breakfast that was very tasty and generous, and set a selection of breakfast products such as soft drinks, porridge, etc. in the bar to enjoy. The room was very cozy and despite having a pub downstair it was quite quiet. I would definitely repeat!

The location of the cottage is lovely, as is the superb, large garden. The outside patio, with an enormous table, is a great facility. It was a clean, comfortable cottage, with quite a lot of room. The 'welcome' items were generous and good quality. ( The cake was very popular with some members of our party!!) The lady owner was very friendly and helpful when approached about something.

The cottage was beautiful and full of character. The setting was beautiful too. We were greeted with a freshly baked cake and 2 bottles of Prosecco.
