Second time we have stayed at this property. My dad is a wheelchair user and the whole property is designed with a wheelchair user in mind without making it overly obvious. Great location, parking, washing machine and welcome pack. We'll definitely be booking for a 3rd time!

The garden is beautiful and loved the sound of the babbling brook at the end of the garden. The upstairs was light and airy with fabulous views. Very clean and with lovely decor.

Cottage very central in pontiscale short walk to keswick. We'll equipped for your stay really comfy beds, stairs very steep as this is a very old cottage. Overall great place to stay. Had a great time would book again

Warm and cosy property, well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Also nice and quiet.
Great location, lovely walks into Keswick, Braithwaite and up into mountains. Cottage was clean and well maintained (door in lounge needs new hinge). Bathroom was small but had a fab shower. Decor upstairs was really nice with beatrix potter pictures and ornaments in the small room. Ample storage space for clothes and dressing table in double room.
Lovely location with direct access to Forest walks and adjacent to mountain stream. Use of garden and outside seating. Charming historic cottage, nicely decorated and equipped, with wood burner, comfy chairs etc. Close to Derwent water and Kewick.
Tawny Cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. We loved the location, the house is beautifully decorated, clean and with everything we needed. The beds
were very comfortable and cosy, the bathroom was lovely - great shower, felt very relaxing. The living room was so comfortable and relaxing in the evening
and the kitchen was just right for 3 adults to have breakfast and all sit together. Altogether an amazing place and we will be returning!
