The area..
There isn't alot on the park and a car is needed to get around but the area is beautiful as is the park its quiet and relaxing. There's a cafe next door and a garden centre which was lovely.
We loved everything about our stay it was very cosy and very clean . We are already planning our next trip in the next few months and will pass this lovely place to family and friends. Very impressed .
The lodge is welcoming, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. All mod cons. Bonus of a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. Lovely outside space and the site itself is well maintained and dog friendly with an enclosed dog exercise area. The garden centre cafe does great takeout food and it’s close to many interesting places to visit. A 20 mins drive to the coast at Allonby and Maryport.
The Lodge was of a very high standard. There's a decking area, with a table but it was a bit wet unfortunately.
