The lodge is welcoming, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. All mod cons. Bonus of a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. Lovely outside space and the site itself is well maintained and dog friendly with an enclosed dog exercise area. The garden centre cafe does great takeout food and it’s close to many interesting places to visit. A 20 mins drive to the coast at Allonby and Maryport.

The Lodge was of a very high standard. There's a decking area, with a table but it was a bit wet unfortunately. Lovely accommodation, nice place, well equipped, lovely details with soft furnishings, lamps etc There was an issue with obtaining the key because the wrong code was provided by Booking.com. The owner responded quickly by phone & provided the right one

It was a fabulous home from home. Everything you'd need and more! It was great to come back to everyday. So clean and homely. The value for money was fantastic as the lodge did feel quite luxurious.

The house was beautiful, and the hot tub was lovely. The coffee machine was my husband's highlight though! Brilliant kitchen. The slow cooker was a really great addition. Contact Kate directly for help - she was quick to assist when the beds had been made up incorrectly & then helped hugely with recommendations for the local area. She was wonderful. Sofa & beds really comfortable.
