Only a couple of nights which felt like a week away. Just superb in every way, comfortable, stunning surroundings. Slept like a log. To be greeted by the hosts dogs in the morning, which was a nice surprise. Having the heated private pool to ourselves was spectacular. A proper home from home.
We will definitely book again.

We enjoyed staying here during our visit to Ashford. The house had everything we needed, including some toiletries! Kitchen was splendid. House is nicely laid out, comfortable beds and it was very easy to check-in when we arrived at night. Chantelle is a great host! Will definitely come again 🙂
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Beautiful cosy cottage with all the mod cons and a luxurious bath and shower. Loved sitting on the sofa in front of the roaring fire. Hosts were charming and delightful.

Having found most of hand-made/hand-painted creations of Lesley & Clive, the Nutshell Rural Treat makes us feel home once we stepped in.
The fire place warmed up not only the lodge but also our hearts. Sorry for our late arrival because of the traffic before M20.
