I could have paid nearly twice as much to stay in the grotty Premier Inn up the road, so this place was a real find. It was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. On the edge of Ross, but very private and quiet. It even had Sky! The bed was insanely comfortable and the shower was excellent. The Electric vehicle charger was a real bonus. Danii went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and this was much appreciated. A brilliant find.

The location is excellent, the views outstanding. Symonds Yat Rock is 500m above the hotel which is a moderately steep half hour walk to the top and very worthwhile.

Symonds Yat itself is a wonderful area and we spent much of our time outdoors exploring, fishing, hiking canoeing etc… however I advise staying in many of the other accommodation options which are highlighted below.

Very very peaceful. Rustic. Tranquil. Very handy for Ross on Wye. Just a 40 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the town. It had a useful kitchen, dining table. Bed and shower. Just lovely for a peaceful break away.

The most wonderful stay in Oakdean Cottage Yurt, we loved every minute. Super clean, beautifully decorated, the facilities were great and right next to the Forest of Dean. We would have loved to have stayed longer! Thank you for a perfect two days.

Wye Valley Holiday Cottage is a beautiful, well equipped house in a beautiful location, just a 5 minute drive from the lovely town of Ross-on-Wye. Dom has thought of everything and the house and annex comfortably slept 12 during our stay (8 adults, 4 children). We were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens and local walks as well as having easy access to shops and good pubs in Ross, making this 'remote' countryside stay very easy.
situation of the property allows for a peaceful location within walking distance of a lovely pub. and with open fields to walk the dog. it was very clean and cosy. and would definitely return.
