The Rochester Wing Orton Hall is situated in Orton, 36 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 26 km from Whinfell Forest, as well as 27 km from Brough Castle. This property offers access to pool at the pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 23 km from Askham Hall.

This is one of the beautiful places I’ve stayed in in England. The grounds were phenomenal, with a beautiful wooded area behind the property. The property was situated surrounded by acres of pasture land. The apartment was in a large manor house and was absolutely stunning. The beds were comfortable in the double felt larger than most. The kitchen was spacious. There were two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two twins. It was perfect for me and my family. The location is perfect; we were able to explore the Lake District in the Yorkshire dales. Truly one of my favorite places to stay on my recent trip to the UK—I can’t wait to return as soon as I can.

The property was comfortable and equipped with all the basics. My children loved the outside space and trampoline, along with being able to see all the cars and animals. Even though the property sits very close to the road you cannot hear the traffic at all. It was great entertainment for my son.

Not many grocery stores or eateries to choose from in Tebay, so make sure you pick something up. Quaint little village. The host provided a little basket of breakfast items to start us off- very kind

Beautiful building in lovely grounds. The apartment felt very spacious. My husband and children loved the pool table in the beautiful, panelled communal lounge(with both pool and snooker balls). The whirlpool bath was a big hit with our son after a long day walking in the nearby fells. Kitchen was very well equipped - unlike many rentals. Apartment was very clean.

We came for our 3 year anniversary and wanted a relaxing night away. Such a beautiful cottage, it felt like home as soon as we walked in. Lovely quiet little area with a pub and local shop a couple of doors down. We would of stayed longer if we could have, but we had to get back home to the little ones. We can’t wait to return again in the near future!

We loved the location and the lovely grounds. The house was full of character and fun to stay in. It had everything we needed and had a well-equipped kitchen. It was very cosy and charming. The kids loved it too. They thought they were having a holiday in a castle.
