Fantastic bothy in a brilliant location. A total escape from the hustle and bustle. A switch off from civilisation, waking up to the sounds of birds outside the bothy is good for the soul. We will be back.

Everything! The cottage is really nice, loved the fireplace on chilly evenings. Kitchen has all the equipment that we needed. Yvonne was always approachable and very helpful. The area is rather quiet and a bit off from the main touristic places which we liked. Dinnet is a great spot to start gorgeous tours through the national park which is stunningly beautiful- we totally fell in love with it.

Excellent location approximately half along the Deeside road which makes it superb for exploring Deeside but also only about an hour or so away from the East Coast. Plenty of private parking for a number of cars Also good location for visiting Aberdeen City. Excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay again when visiting Deeside.

Beautiful garden where we had breakfast and koffie. Quiet environment.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
There were so many wonderful things! The welcome package was very tasty and the fresh flowers around the cottage were a lovely touch. There were many books and curated items to explore inside; it’s clear Paddy takes great care with furnishing the cottage with special items. We were warmly greeted by Paddy who had started the fire for us and gave us a tour and brief instructions. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring some nature walks in the area.
