Sef welcomed us and showed us to our rooms, which were very well equipped, clean and comfortable with beautiful ensuite shower/ toilet.
The optional evening meal was prepared by Shaan and was delicious. Both hosts were warm and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.
Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
We stopped off at Newark on our way north and didn't realise how much there is to see and do in the area so will certainly return to Tumbleweed Cottage.
We were waved off by Sef and Shaan and it felt almost like we had been staying with friends.
My mother is partially sighted with mobility issues and found the stair lighting and room layout very manageable.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, The host was lovely , very attentive and answered all our queries in a very timely manner.. We loved the hot tub and the beautiful garden. The bathrooms were great too, great shower.

Lovely bijou cottage type home with 2 bedrooms, one doubling up as the sitting room, and 2 good bathrooms. Hot tub available for a small extra fee. Close to Center Parcs so we could stay over and get there early in the morning for our spa break. Well equipped kitchen. Parking outside the premises.
The cottage was amazing so clean and comfortable very homely. We had an hour in the hot tub and honestly it was beautiful just sat looking out over the pond with the most beautiful koi. The garden was as good as inside for comfort and cleanliness.
I will definitely book again in future just for a nice relaxing weekend away from kids. Couldn't have been any happier with our stay.
Absolutely fantastic stay at Acorn cottage. Immaculately clean and well presented property that is even nicer than the photos. It is somehow spacious and cosy at the same time. The garden is stunningly beautiful with a fantastically relaxing hot tub. Really comfy beds and great items for children. Really friendly and welcoming hosts.
Great position and lovely, cosy, very well equipped gem of a cottage. Extremely comfortable stay and enjoyed a most relaxing dip in the super hot tub. Wonderful, even in winter.
