This is a beautiful inn with great views, set in a very quiet countryside location. Food was really good - dinner on Friday night was very enjoyable, and breakfast on Saturday morning was absolutely excellent (not to mention with horses outside the windows to add to the view!). The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the whole place is so atmospheric. I love all things medieval in any case, so a stay in a fifteenth-century building was a huge plus for me. Everyone was very friendly too, including the other guests.

The lodge was set in a beautiful setting, the layout makes the most of the stunning views and the kitchen has everything you could need. Having a bathroom per bedroom is great when sharing with friends and family. The owners were friendly and helpful but also left you to enjoy you trip (perfect mix). The lodge is both comfortable and modern, cosy but spacious.

Breathtakingly beautiful location. And a breakfast to match. Excellent bacon and sausage from Ludlow over in Shropshire. My four-poster bed was a delight. And the room was cosy with a sensational view. James and his team run a tight ship and were super communicative and helpful.
