Wonderful accommodating host, who lived very close and responded to our questions on arrival. Lovely welcome pack of fruit, eggs, cake, milk juice etc. Location was great, rooms good and spacious, good range of kitchen appliances. All the other rooms well equipped. Plenty of advice of local places to see and walk in, with maps provided.

The Shepherds Hut was set in a tranquil location with great views all around.! It was so peaceful, chilling in the hot tub at night and just what we needed.! Jacqui and Dave were fantastic and couldn’t do any more for our stay.!! 5star treatment, we will be back.! xx

Great meal. Comfortable bed. Great locals in the bar! Beautiful grounds around the property.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The location was quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 mins from shops and facilities. The cottage was quaint and homely, a pleasant flashback to childhood memories of another era, with addition of a modern kitchen.
The cottage is beautiful...the pictures online don't show how nice it really is.. fantastically furnished even has a water wheel as a feature in the front room
Has its own stretch of river for fishing very relaxing and just a short drive to a town with everything you need..met the owners who were very friendly
