The location was beautiful. Peaceful. Wonderful gardens and land to explore. The cottage itself was ideal, everything we needed for a relaxing break in February. Muddy walks with the dog, back to the cottage - heated by the log burner - toasty! A slice of delicious lemon drizzle cake, left for us by our host - lovely. Super comfy beds - all in all a great place to stay.

The cottage is set in beautiful countryside, with quaint leaded windows, internal beams and obviously a thatched roof. From early morning you could hear lots of birds tweeting all the time, which was wonderful. It was warm as heating came on if the temperature dropped. The owners left drinks, eggs, bread and cake, which was a very nice touch. Really enjoyed our stay, just wonderful!

We stayed in the one bedroom chalet separate from the main building. It was warm, cosy and generally everything that we were looking for. Full kitchen for cooking, a wood burner for the evenings, nice bathroom and excellent living room space.

Lovely little cabin in beautiful grounds. Jean was a fantastic host, meeting us on arrival and checking we had all we needed. We stayed there to visit family nearby and it was ideal, will definitely look at rebooking in the future

Charming self-catering accommodation, well equipped with lots of space set in a quiet location surrounded by birds, flowers and wildlife with lovely views of the Devon countryside. An ideal base for exploring this lovely part of the country or just relaxing - it reminded me of holidays when I was a child. Close to a small town with an excellent Pizza take-away and Fish & chip shop. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. A truly relaxing break.

The apartment was really interesting with lots of history, in a nice quiet location on a hill with views over to Dartmoor. The facilities were brilliant for self catering with a 3 year old and we also visited the open air swimming pool not far away. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, thanks for the biscuits they were delicious!
