    clean comfortable cool down stairs in the heat and had had a garden to sit outside.

    This lovely cottage is run by Mop: the interieur is very cute and obviously lovingly placed. Nothing is missing - comfort, equipment, parking space. It will be difficult to find an equivalent place for 3 persons.

    We paid a little extra to have a small lodge behind the pub,the room was excellent,it had a terrace with lovely views across the countryside. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had,and we have several short breaks each year.The dinner was also very good and reasonably priced.We were both very pleased with everything.

    fantastic lodge room with a lovely view of surrounding countryside,really clean really comfortable bed places to sit outside breakfast was perfect as was the food in the restaurant highly recommend the dirty fries!!! staff were very friendly didn’t want to leave and definitely want to come back soon

    The food was excellent for dinner and a huge breakfast was included in the room rate. The room was very clean, and the location was close to where we wanted to visit in Devon, so was great. The surroundings were idyllic surrounded by countryside.

    The cabins reminded me of an Alpine lodge except this view was not of the mountains but the rolling hills of North Devon. I stayed in early July and the view and smell of the countryside was quite exquisite. I didn’t sample the evening meal but did have a cooked breakfast on each day that I was there which was very well cooked and the produce was of a very high quality. I would definitely recommend this for a staycation and plan to stay there when I’m not working in the area
