Fantastic holiday house with literally everything you could need for a stay away. We stayed for 1 night and there was no less attention to detail and a warm welcome than someone who is staying for 2 weeks.

A perfect base for exploring the area. Easy to park in Ashfield Car park, which is free between 6pm and 9am. Lovely and warm after a rainy day of walking. Has everything you need.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
A truly lovely stay, reminiscent of childhood stays in cottages in the Lake District. Perfect location for exploring the Dales on foot or on motorbikes, of which we did both! It won’t be everyone’s preference, but if you like cosy cottages with character and open fires, not to mention thoughtful and friendly hosts, then you’ll love staying here.
The cottage was beautifully clean, warm, and cosy. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and everything we needed was at hand. Gill, the host was more than accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. It's a very cozy little house, perfectly clean, and equipped with everything one might need. The host was extremely kind, making sure the place was warm by the time we arrived, lighting both fireplaces. They were very thoughtful, welcoming us with cookies and giving each of our three children a chocolate. The house is situated in a haven of tranquility and peace, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We felt very much at home and would happily return anytime, and highly recommend it to others.
The cottage was cosy with loads of space for us (family of four). Lots of traditional features thoughout, the beds were really comfy, the whole cottage was spotless and we had everything we needed. The hosts, Kim and Robert were so welcoming, friendly and helpful - the fires were ready to light if we needed them which was a huge help. The cottage was in a great location to explore the surrounding area.
The location was lovely. We used it as a base to do the Ingleton waterfall trail and the 3 peaks challenge.
It was a perfect place to relax in. Really clean and tidy cottage with a cosy living room and fire.
The beds were really comfortable and the house was well equipped.
The owner was so helpful with everything and quick to respond to any query we had.
Lovely places nearby - would recommend courtyard dairy if you’re a cheese fan!
Kim was so kind and welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. The cottage is absolutely lovely, so warm and cosy with everything you could possibly want. We loved the wood fires and the beds were comfy and warm. Views were beautiful and location was fab.
