Superb location right in the middle of Grasmere. Got the feeling we were in the " Booking.com" annexe but to be fair it was fine. Free coffee and scones in the afternoon. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Second time we have stayed at this property. My dad is a wheelchair user and the whole property is designed with a wheelchair user in mind without making it overly obvious. Great location, parking, washing machine and welcome pack. We'll definitely be booking for a 3rd time!

The cottage is so cosy and warm. Wastwater lake and Scafell Pike are very close which was ideal. Sally-Anne was so friendly and welcoming, she made us feel very at home in the place and gave us some great advice and maps. Beautiful scenery surrounding the place too and it was lovely and quiet. The facilities for cooking are great and we loved the fireplace. Beds are super comfortable and the showers were nice.

I came here for walking with three other friends and we all wanted our own room and space and this property ticked all the boxes for us and it didn’t disappoint. The cottage is really spacious with a beautiful and unique style. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable beds - much needed if you’ve been out walking all day!. Great location, peaceful and absolutely amazing views. The hot tub was a decent size and great way to relax after a long days walking.

AMAZING and idyllic location. Wasdale lake is just a km away from the cottage which was a pleasant surprise! Lots of hiking routes near the cottage and an ideal location for mountain climbing or water activities. Very warm and homely feel, mostly clean and tidy, fluffy pillows and the beds were super comfy.
