The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The garden is private with views over the countryside. A great getaway which is in easy driving distance to many beaches and attractions.

The hideout had everything we needed and more to make the weekend the relaxing break we needed. The hosts thought every detail through. The location was excellent just a short walk from the town and the beaches.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
A fabulous place to stay - lovely, big, bright rooms. Friendly staff, great food, good location right inbetween Truro & Newquay. Particularly liked that the rooms were in little cottages, so it didn’t matter if the pub was busy on the weekend, as we had complete privacy. The vouchers for the bar if you didn’t need housekeeping was also a great touch.
Large, modern cottage in the Cornwall countryside. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed, though more counter space would've been useful. The chairs were comfortable, and we liked the bluetooth radio -- nice touch. The on-site restaurant was decent, and breakfasts were tasty. The location right off the A30 was super convenient for exploring Cornwall, though there's not much to the town itself, so everywhere was a drive. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming!
Rooms are so superb, very comfortable and cosy feeling. Bathrooms are amazing! All the staff are welcoming and put you at ease straight away. We didn't eat here this time but have done before and the food is always exceptional.
Large cottage-style room with huge & very comfy double bed, walk -in shower AND a freestanding bath. Kettle & a Nespresso.
Staff went to the trouble to call & ask about dinner as I was a bit late arriving. Great breakfast too.

Very friendly staff, spacious impeccable rooms. We stayed often at Lewinnick Lodge their sister hotel so we knew what to expect but it sort of exceeded our expectations.
We enjoyed the restaurant with lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff and exceptional cuisine.
Looking forward to going back.
The staff were amazing and very welcoming. The food was lovely and the room was perfect, very spacious for a standard room and it had everything you could want, huge walk in shower and we loved the modern cottage feel. The location was perfect and only a 10 min drive to festrell beach.
The food was great, fine dining without being pretentious. The room was bigger than expected, modern, cosy and luxurious! The staff were friendly and helpful, overall we had a great stay. We also liked that they gave a £5 voucher if you didn’t want housekeeping which we used against food and drink. I travel a lot for work and this was the only place I have had a great nights sleep. Plus it is in a great location for easy travel around Cornwall.
We went around Cornwall for the day and were exhausted when we arrive at the hotel. We did a late check-in but Dee from the reception was amazing to assist us with all our inquiries. She was attentive and friendly! The room also was comfy and cozy. We will definitely be back :)
