Beautiful old cottage. Well appointed, quiet. The pub down the road was also fantastic- good solid food and well priced too. Amazing host. Went out of their way to help us do our laundry.

This was the cutest guest house I've ever stayed in. We only thought we would have a small room but it was very decent sized, the ensuite had a bath, there was also a separate shower room. we had a lovely massive living room and kitchen! It was fantastic and only 20 minutes from windermere ! Will deffo book here again. Chris was lovely and gave us some nice tips as to where to go.

Fantastic holiday house with literally everything you could need for a stay away. We stayed for 1 night and there was no less attention to detail and a warm welcome than someone who is staying for 2 weeks.

It was very nicely decorated and cozy. The bed was so comfortable. All of the facilities were brilliant
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Breakfast was excellent, to a high standard
The Plough Inn is in the countryside .
My daughter and I had lovely country walks, location was excellent, good walking area.
All the staff went the “extra mile” to make our stay memorable. If a welcoming smile was the common currency at The Plough every staff member was cut from the same cloth. Our spacious, comfortable room/suite made for an exceptional stay. Coupled with an interesting menu, served in a cosy atmosphere there was much to enjoy. A hearty breakfast, freshly cooked to order put us on the road in great heart.
Nothing less than exceptional! Location was in the middle of the countryside, nevertheless just five minutes away from Kirky town, an ten minutes away from the M6. The cottage was perfect, cozy, clean, with lots of space for us and all the appliances, kitchenware and linen that was possible to imagine. Andy and Shirley were always kind and helpful. We really had a great time in Lupton Hall, and I surely recommend this accomodation
The Plough is ideally situated to break our journey from South Wales to Scotland, located, as it is, just off the M6. It is an idyllic country inn with roomy stylish bedrooms and a very cosy restaurant with a roaring log fire and excellent food. It’s a shame that we only stay for one night. We could stay for longer.
