The hosts live on-site at the farmhouse and are friendly and hospitable. The cottage is very clean, warm and comfortable. We loved that the cows came to say hello at the kitchen window! There are good woodland walks close by, and it's an easy drive to Inverurie for supermarkets etc. Recommend arriving in daylight if possible as easier to find.

Excellent location approximately half along the Deeside road which makes it superb for exploring Deeside but also only about an hour or so away from the East Coast. Plenty of private parking for a number of cars Also good location for visiting Aberdeen City. Excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay again when visiting Deeside.

Beautiful location, it was perfect for what we wanted as a base. As the castle was closed for renovations we had complete peace and quiet. When we booked we were unsure about whether the Interior would be big enough but were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt. We would totally recommend it.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Traditional inn lodgings above a pub. Staff were friendly and let us eat our takeaway downstairs in the pub, as main meals are not served there. Spacious, clean well presented en-suite bedroom. Pretty walks nearby and a nice countryside view from our window. Pod coffee machine and microwave provided in the room. The accommodation is great value for money.
It is a great lodge with all the comforts. The kitchen is big and has all the utensils you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are good and the heating is very good.
The bar man was really friendly , welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean, fresh and tidy looking and the locals were mega friendly and sociable. Great location to the countryside. Thank you everyone, we will be back!
Location absolutely stunning on a working farm with views across to cairngorms. Even on a wet windy day it was stunning. 2 miles to nearest farm shop run by owners on their activity centre. Comfortable bed, hot tub welcome after long days out. Spotlessly clean.
Great lodge to stay in had all the facilities you could want. The look of the lodge is great as is the interior. We did not find the road noise an issue as others have mentioned. It is also close to a number of attractions including Balmoral.
