Ivy Cottage, hotel in Lower Slaughter

Set in Bourton on the Water, in a historic building, 31 km from Cotswold Water Park, Ivy Cottage is a holiday home with a terrace and barbecue facilities.

Location of the cottage is excellent being a short walk into Bourton on the Water. Plenty of choice of restaurants and pubs but it was extremely busy everywhere with tourists. It was nice and warm in the property. The garden was great for my 2 dogs and was fully enclosed. Had parking for 2 cars. The conservatory was very nice and bright for dining. Host responded promptly to my enquiry re recycling and the BBQ. Welcome basket with Diddly Squat items was nice. The Mousetrap pub opposite was very handy.

Lovely bungalow in a quiet area. The heating system was a lot better than before. It's really nice to be able to park on the drive, but it's a pity to have to lose the flowers.

Ty Nant Cottages and Suites, hotel in Lower Slaughter

Situated in Alvescot in the Oxfordshire region, Ty Nant Cottages and Suites offers self-catering accommodation in Cotswold stone farm buildings dating back to the 1700s.

The rural location was quiet and peaceful, it was lovely to look out at the horses next door. It was nice to have a whole separate house to ourselves and didn’t hear anything from the neighbours. Plenty of crockery and glasses and good cooking facilities

Such a beautiful hotel, quirky but welcoming and cosy. Second time visiting and it doesn’t disappoint. From the moment I booked, the staff on reception were very helpful. Bed comfortable, spacious and cosy. Breakfast was great too! The staff working on the morning of the 3rd were exceptional, on point and smartly dressed. Excellent service well done! Really is a beautiful place in an idyllic setting…stunning.

The place is idyllic. The manor itself is beautiful, and the surroundings incredibly special. The town where the manor is located is very picturesque, charming, a very good example of the beauty of the Cotswolds. The location is fantastic to drive around and enjoy the beauty of this part of England's countryside.

Everything about this hotel was great, I would definitely stay here again. Besides the room and bathroom, I would like to highlight the views from the hotel, they are so relaxing. Also, the restaurants (for breakfast and dinner) are very comfortable, beautiful, and very cozy (especially beside the fireplace at dinner, 100% necessary for our winter trip.

Stayed in the Aldrich Cottage. Ideal for a couple. Very clean. Small (cosy) sitting room downstairs; very comfortable (super king) bed upstairs. Fluffy towels in the bathroom too! Great breakfast, with a variety of choice. Staff were very helpful and would assist wherever possible. Great location for touring the Cotswolds and surrounding area.
