I doubt very much whether you will find a cottage as different as this one and especially for the money. This is the cottage to choose if you have a dog who loves water. The cottage itself was comfortable and well equipped. Whilst it is near a main road the traffic noise did not disturb me. What differentiates this cottage from the rest is the woodland garden. The owners have built an outdoor area set in woodland right next to the river Alyn, which is a gentle stream at this point. The outdoor area is covered so you can enjoy the great outdoors in the rain, or in our case be protected from the sun. Sitting in this area with a glass of chilled wine watching the wildlife is a great way to relax. There is a BBQ with all the tools provided and even an outdoor fridge, to save going back to the cottage!! If BBQ is not your thing, then there is a good pub 5 mins walk away, this is truly the ideal place to explore North Wales. As if this was not enough the owners who live next door were brilliant, they brought ice round to us (much needed) nothing was too much trouble. What a wonderful and very different cottage, we will be back.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay. The hamper on arrival was so thoughtful and you couldn't ask for more from the cottage. The views amazing and the horses to look out to. We loved the comfort of the hot tub it was so relaxing. We can't wait to visit again soon. Also the bed was so comfy we didn't want to get up.
