Outside area available.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The decor was wonderful, just the right amount of modern with the perfect touch of times gone by.
The views are fantastic from the jungle room.
The host Jamie is brilliant and the breakfasts are amazing.
They have thought about all of the little things that make a cozy stay, from fluffy blankets, dimmimg lights, luxurious towels and netflix/tv streaming, right down to good coffee and extra pots of milk!
They've thought of everything! It's the little things that elevate this B&B so much!
Beautiful comfortable cosy cottage. Very clean. Quality kitchen, towels , bed linen. Super comfy bed.. Best 2 nights sleep for ever.. Catered for our dog with dog bed blankets bowls and treats. Nice bottle of wine biscuits cakes butter milk ect for us humans 😙. Lovely outside seating area, good little suntrap when it showed. Driving distance to attractions and rural enough for peace. Highly recommend.
The panoramic view from the Hall and our room was spectacular.
We were made very welcome and we enjoyed learning about the Hall’s history.
We were in the Jungle room which was a good size, beautifully decorated and cozy.
The continental breakfast choice was very good quality and plentiful.
Second time staying. Love this place, the house is totally charming. The owners have such good taste in decor. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside from the veranda. Close to the heritage site , the canal walk and the pubs .Plenty of choice for breakfast . Highly recommend.
I stayed overnight with my Grandson who celebrated his 7th birthday in the morning at breakfast, with such joy. Our hosts were so kind and made Birthday breakfast one to remember in our hearts forever. We loved the accommodation it was exceptional. It was great to see 'history coming to life' as we explored the village, the place of birth of his Great Grandmother. The Heritage Centre in the village, is well worth exploring and added to our lovely time.
A cosy family run business. The view was stunning. The breakfast freshly made to order. The family was absolutely fantastic. The room was very tastefully decorated. A beautiful almost fully restored historical home.
It's one of the most beautiful cottages iv ever stayed in. It was so cosy and clean. The best sleep we have had when away. We just loved everything about it and will definitely book again.
