Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights, Sue & Ken are incredible hosts and did a fantastic job with the hut and scenery. Everything was perfect and very romantic for someone that likes privacy as there is only the one hut, in the middle of nature with beautiful views and wildlife yet with all the facilities you’d need (plus the beautiful hot tub) This is probably the most eco friendly stay we’ve had as well, which was an added bonus. Thank you! ☺️

Immaculately clean, up to date, beautiful view of trees and countryside through the window, private and quiet although right next to the main A40, thoughtfully equipped room, good TV and streaming services in room, the bathroom was modern and attractive, hostess Jo was lovely, excellent value for money.

Sue and Ken - thanks for the great hospitality at Foxgloves and Fairytales. We had a wonderful stay. Loved the hot tub. The best “throne room” we’ve ever used! It’s obvious you’ve put a lot of love and effort into a fabulous secluded spot. Thank you and we hope to visit again!

All other reviews were spot on, really nice and welcoming hosts catered for a great holiday with idyllic scenery. Logs and charcoal sold in situ at a very reasonable price. Extra credit to lovely hosts Sue and Ken, as well as Meg and Max!

Absolutely everything. What an amazing place to call home for a couple of days, wish it had been longer! The shepherd's hut is very cosy, and so peaceful. Excellent facilities, and Sue and Ken couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. And of course, there is the wood fired hot tub! Would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time staying in this cottage. The weather was really horrible but that was OK because we had this amazing cottage to spend time in and cosy up in front of the log burner. It's absolutely stunning with everything you could wish for, plus most important of all, it is ultra dog friendly. Ours pups felt really at home and settled immediately!

There wasn’t anything that we disliked really! We had a brilliant time and loved how peaceful the environment was. The cottage itself is super clean, cosy and tastefully decorated with lots of space and a private garden where you can soak up the sun. We had a very comfortable stay and left feeling very well rested and happy. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with Sonia - she was very helpful and responded very quickly to any queries. Thank you!
