The friendly & helpful host contacted me on arrival day to offer directions, to explain check-in procedures and ask if we needed her to get fresh bread & milk for us. On arrival the house was warm, cosy & very welcoming. I was very impressed with the style and spaciousness throughout, from the beautiful original features to all the modern facilities. Beds were large & comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and basic supplies were plentiful. There was plenty of hot water, and fluffy towels. Everything was clean and traditionally luxurious.

I bought my boyfriend the aqueduct canoeing experience as a gift for Christmas so we booked the shepherds hut for our stay. What a glorious corner of the earth! Waking up to the sound of the little creek that runs past the hut & the sound of the sheep is so relaxing. You have no signal so you have a few days away from hectic modern life. The views are absolutely stunning & the stars at night are amazing as there’s no light pollution! You can cozy up by the fire pit & even toast a few marshmallows. Laura was so lovely & helpful & I thank her for sharing her little paradise with us. I would highly recommend the shepherds hut if you’re in the area & wanting a few days “off grid”.

Clean, modern & nice little touches like face pads & ear buds in the bathroom & nice snacks in the kitchen
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Cosy cottage ideally located to numerous points of interest. Very clean and with lovely personal touches. Cara was very friendly too and very quick to offer us a spare key when I lost the original!
An absolute highlight of our trip. Cara made us feel so welcome with messages and other thoughtful touches at the property. We absolutely loved the cosy feel of the cottage, and wished we had time to stay longer!
The cottage was beautiful, so cute and cosy, cara thought of everything and everyone. The village is cute with the locals who are so friendly. Highly recommended.definitely will be staying again.
Such a welcoming, cosy cottage in a lovely village. The host, Emma, can not do enough and her pride in providing a great guest experience definitely shows. This was my second stay and it felt like coming home
Perfect cozy little cottage with great countryside around (came to cycle). Comfy bed, lovely personal touches with the message board on arrival and biscuits to greet me. Good WiFi, great communication from host.
Cosy, idyllic, postcard stuff, attentive host, very comfortable bed, great location for exploring - ours was a road trip so drove all the way through waterfalls, Snowdon, quick trip to Anglesey, back through Llandudno, Conwy and then home via a crazy adventure road.. the cottage has everything you need. Recommend the Indian takeaway and the Bala mountain drive!
