What a place! Wales, Snowdonia, this valley and Melin Bach cottage! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. There are plenty of things to do: hiking to Moel Hebog, hiking the Nantlle Ridge, biking to Caernarfon (Castle), eating at Y Garreg, exploring the Dragon's Back Race route... Love this place. The proprietor should be applauded for rescuing and rehabilitating such a unique historical property. Aesthetically, it is visually very appealing. I was particularly attracted to it because of its proximity (about 200 meters) to the ruins of Plas Brynkir, the ancestral home of a distant branch of my family.
