We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Richard, the host, was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, providing us with great tips for local walks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is ideal if you want to explore further, with Anglesey and Snowdonia only an hour’s drive away on good roads. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience the beauty of North Wales!

The whole place was amazing. The actual pictures don’t do it justice. The little back garden was so cute and the bedrooms were so perfect and it was also very warm.
We will definitely be going back again as also my dogs totally loved it there too. Thank you Rosie and Kyle xx

It is very cozy and comfortably warm with the underfloor heating. We sat outside for a bit one night and there was no sound whatsoever it was so peaceful. I would recommend taking the canal trip from Llangollen over the aqueduct and walking back along the canal path.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Beautiful, quiet country setting within a ten minute walk of a lovely cosy pub. Charmian and Becky were great hosts and the accommodation was spotless, relaxing and a super comfy bed.
Large Tudor house in a beautiful tranquil setting. The French room has windows on 3 sides giving gorgeous views of the gardens, Moel Famau and surrounding countryside.
Charmian and Becky were very welcoming and friendly, they arranged for a table at the local pub which was a short but sometimes steep walk away, well worth it as they served great food.
It was a very peaceful night followed by a lovely breakfast. We would definitely recommend it
It was perfect. Lovely people that did their best to allow us to have a pleasent stay. We have been looking for some peace and quiet in a proper welsh country house. The house is as traditional as it can get, but not missing out any of the modern ameneties. You can tell it is well maintained. Also everything was very clean. Slept like rocks in the beds and enjoyed the flat and salon. Just 10 min scenic walk and you end up in Druid Inn Pub thats serves good food (call for table before). I really recommend staying here.
Beautiful rural location with plenty of lovely walks nearby and beautifully maintained gardens. Host was very welcoming and friendly, managed to snag us a table on a busy Saturday night at a charming local pub! Decent full English in the morning with locally sourced produce.
It was a real pleasure to stay at Pentre Cerrig Country House on this trip to Wales. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality and making us feel at home.
The house has a beautiful appearance and is located on a small hill with a beautiful and peace environment. The room was tidy and clean, cooking utensils were well prepared. I would recommend this house to travelers traveling to Wales
Lovely quiet location with beautiful surroundings and views of the countryside. Lovely hosts with very comfortable bed and facilities around the house. Breakfast was exceptional and enjoyed our stay very much
