The cabin was beautiful, very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The little welcome basket was a delight - with bread, milk, coffee, jam and some home made brownies! Rachel and Banty were lovely hosts and we felt very at home here.
It was very easy to find with What3Words - and we could park right outside - which was helpful for guests with mobility issues.
The beds were super comfy and cosy and we slept like logs!
The cottage has been converted, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. This is clearly a place the owners set up with the intention of holidaying there themselves. Everything from the completely automated heating to the luxurious shower(s) and fluffy bath sheets made for a really comfortable and cozy stay. Highly recommended.
The property was very unique and homely. It has some original quirky furniture and fittings. There was everything we needed. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the evening you can sit on the terrace with the fairy lights on that surround the roof trim. It’s all very idyllic. Lovely traditional breakfast too in the conservatory. The hosts were lovely and attentive.
everything we needed was in the cabin and was clean and tidy.heating is supplied via a radiator and heated towel rail so no danger of being cold.it was a very blustery couple of days but we were really safe and cozy even though we were high up in the countryside.it was just what we wanted a bit of peace and quiet but not far from civilisation!!
