The house was immaculate and had modern facilities throughout.
The situation was perfect, yards away from an excellent pub, 200 yrds or so from town centre shops, pubs and cafes.
I would certainly use this cottage again.

Only stayed for a night but It was lovely. A beautiful and cosy cabin and wonderful views. The host was very welcoming and friendly and made It just feel extra safe and comfortable. It was a hot day so the host brought us some watermelon and fresh grown peas which we ate and enjoyed. Had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long while! Couldn't have been happier. It was booked as a surprise for a birthday and it really did make it special. Would absolutely love to come back someday for a longer stay.

The house was very clean, beautifully laid out. Spacious and great amenities. A simple walk into Llangollen town center is only about 5 mins walk. Very comfortable beds. Showers were very nice and warm. Everything was exceptionally clean. Fresh towels were available for us. Have zero complaints 👌🏻

I bought my boyfriend the aqueduct canoeing experience as a gift for Christmas so we booked the shepherds hut for our stay. What a glorious corner of the earth! Waking up to the sound of the little creek that runs past the hut & the sound of the sheep is so relaxing. You have no signal so you have a few days away from hectic modern life. The views are absolutely stunning & the stars at night are amazing as there’s no light pollution! You can cozy up by the fire pit & even toast a few marshmallows. Laura was so lovely & helpful & I thank her for sharing her little paradise with us. I would highly recommend the shepherds hut if you’re in the area & wanting a few days “off grid”.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Incredible place, hosts outstanding and so so lovely ! Owl lodge was gorgeous. Hot tub super easy to heat following instructions properly ! Loved the penguin pool and sauna! Amazing place we can’t wait to return. ❤️

Such a beautiful lodge in a stunning area. Its the perfect location for just switching off and relaxing. We brought our puppy with us and she loved it, Especially the welcome treats :-)
The hot tub is amazing and there are plenty of walking to go on. Highly recommended. We will be booking again!
We absolutely adored everything. This place is outstanding and we can't wait to go back. Beautiful location, amazing accommodation and the hosts are absolutely fantastic. Very, very lovely people. A running stream outside that sends you to sleep at night. The hot tub at twilight will remain one of my most treasured memories EVER! The secret sauna and penguin pool was a fabulous experience. I'd live at Faraway Follies if I could! 😀 averaging unique and magical place.
What a beautiful place you have Jenny and Margaret! Luckily, we are quite local to Llandegla so we already knew how stunning it was, but Faraway Follies blew away our already high expectations out of the water. We stayed during Storm Babet, but with the cosy log fire, a night of board games and some great local pub grub we still managed to have a fabulous weekend, and a few dips in the Hot Tub. Thank you so much Jenny and Margaret for having us, you are both so lovely and funny! We will be back very soon Xxx
