Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Claire made us very welcome and provided a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The room was cosy and comfortable. The directions were helpful and the property was easy to find.

We had a really lovely two nights at Frizzenham Farmhouse. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast in the conservatory was delightful and the host was very friendly and helpful. I loved the arty ambiance about the house and the cottage garden was a great source of fresh fruit for breakfast.

A lovely little 'bolt hole' in a fabulous location. Unfortunately we went for a 'spring break' but had a dreadful week of cold winter weather including snow, sleet and rain. However, the log burner turns it in to a lovely warm and snug little cottage.
Mary and Mark are very kind and welcoming and we'd love to return to sample the place in warmer weather!
