Second time we have stayed at this property. My dad is a wheelchair user and the whole property is designed with a wheelchair user in mind without making it overly obvious. Great location, parking, washing machine and welcome pack. We'll definitely be booking for a 3rd time!

Very comfortable. Warm and plenty of hot water. Having two wood burners was fantastic! Clean and well equipped(especially the kitchen). Comfortable beds in both rooms. Nice welcome box.

The garden is beautiful and loved the sound of the babbling brook at the end of the garden. The upstairs was light and airy with fabulous views. Very clean and with lovely decor.

Right in the heart of town, a minutes walk from Fitz park to let dogs stretch their legs. There's a Spar shop in the opposite street as you leave the property for any emergency groceries. Lots of room, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine, washing and drying facilities. Lovely living room, kitchen diner space with exceptional views on the top floor. Keswick cottages who manage the property are round the corner, really easy to get hold of and very helpful.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The rooms are spacious, warm and cosy! 12 min drive from Keswick which is super handy. Bar downstairs to grab a drink. Nice quiet location and friendly staff.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the lodge everything was perfect the staff were incredibly helpful the room the room was wonderful as was the continental breakfast and we very much enjoyed our dinner at the Kings head just up the road fantastic food and you will see us again as its so close to helvellyn and striding edge... So see you soon 👍
The property was very cosy located right in the heart of Lake District. Beautiful views.
Property itself has beautiful features including reception and sitting area which residences were allowed to use. Very nice fire place with unique antique features.
Very peaceful place, perfect getaway and the view was amazing. The lodge itself is cozy and simple. There is no mobile service so this is a good way to disconnect and unwind. There is wifi and telly is available if you need it. It is also close to Keswick if you need anything it is only a couple minutes drive and plenty of activities to do, it is a good location.
Beautiful hotel/inn which had a warm cosy atmosphere, staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and well presented with stunning views of the countryside. The food was amazing and a good selection of the beer and wine available too. Great location near Thirlmere Reservoir being only a few miles South of Keswick and not far from Ambleside either.
