Great location, everything we needed and owners couldn’t do enough to help.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Everything....such a lovely BnB, cozy, extremely comfortable, and clean. Lovely people and delicious hot and cold breakfast. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend 👌.
The veiw while having breakfast was amazing, and the location into the lovely Village of Largo is a 5 minute drive.
An excellent, clean and tidy farm b&b run by a very friendly and helpful hostess. Whilst set at the end of a long largely well maintained approach road, access was straightforward and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, with the relatively rare inclusion of duck eggs (presumably from the local ducks evident, but not intrusive, from our bedroom window) and Lorne flat sausage. Overall, highly recommended.
The owner, who lives next door,is very helpful but not intrusive.
The cottage is lovely. Very quiet and secluded with really beautiful gardens and woodland to explore. Distant sea views. In the countryside but convenient for Lower Largo and St Andrews (easy, fast road.).
The room was warm with comfortable cosy beds. The breakfast was tasty and portions generous with perfect poached duck eggs as a choice. The owner was very accommodating offering the room the same night. The rural location would be ideal if looking for a romantic break.
The cottage was lovely, both quirky and cosy and had a lovely view. It was very well equipped and even had an electric blanket on the double bed. The only thing that was missing was a CD/DVD player but since the WiFi connection was good, it wasn't an issue. We would thoroughly recommend Cutty Sark Cottage and would certainly go back there.
The cottage sits in a delightful rural location with fabulous views. The grounds are idyllic. It has great facilities and is truly an oasis of calm. It is close to the Fife coastal villages and many amenities.
