The lodge was a fantastic stop off on the journey down from the Highlands! Really easy to find and great comms from the owners. The place itself was immaculate, so clean and fresh! It was lovely and warm and cosy, well decorated and equipped. The bed was comfy and we slept well! Honestly wish he had booked more than one night as it was so quiet and relaxing! Just perfect!

Everything was as new, Had part loss of electricity in the morning of leaving, the owner brought flasks of boiled water, very thoughtful. Quiet countryside, lovely river about 400 metres away crossed by 18th century bridge

We had a wedding at The Hidden Barns, so we were after somewhere big enough for 2 families (with small children) to share and that was still close to the wedding venue. This ticked all the boxes. Stunning cottage, beautifully designed and perfect for the little ones to run around in. Absolutely spotless, Lynn was fantastically accommodating and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and it was a shame we had to leave. Would 100% recommend 10/10

I booked this property because I was impressed by the photographs of the accomodation and it lived up to our expectations. We were attending a wedding nearby and had to travel from Norfolk so wanted somewhere we could relax, get ready and then explore the area before going home. Even though the weather was less than perfect the cottage was warm and inviting with everything you would need. The owners were very helpful with directions and advice about taxis.
