The only thing you could hold against this delightful property is that the location might not suit everyone, since it's in nowhere in particular just shy of thew Welsh border. But wow for value I've seen nothing this good. Large room thoughtfully done; exceptional garden, country house grand, hardly any one around because it only has a small number of rooms, breakfast is done so you suit yourself in-room (suits me completely). Next to no traffic noise. Stunning countryside.

The farm animals were so cute. Everything was very clean and cosy. The hot tub was great too. Was really unique and all the decorations felt so homely. Towels provided, gas heater, all plates, pots pans and cutlery. Useful notes on shops, pubs and restaurants nearby.

Wonderful views of rolling hills and a gorgeous cozy bedroom. Emma and her mum are charming helpful and informative hosts and even her daughters are hospitable! The bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely bonus to have a guest lounge. Absolutely delicious food in the morning including home-made compote and fabulous eggs. What a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful and historic place. Thank you for allowing us to share your family home.

Exceeded our (high!) expectations. Very stylish and comfortable. Luxurious bathrooms were a real treat. We were particularly grateful that the cottage was really cosy during an unseasonal cold snap in April.

On entering the cottage we knew that we had chosen the perfect place for a romantic getaway. All rooms were beautifully decorated, especially the super-king bedroom located upstairs. The ensuite bathroom with claw-foot slipper bath was a particular treat. We look forward very much to visiting again.
