Machrie Cottage, Oban,, hotel in Kilchrenan

Featuring garden views, Machrie Cottage, Oban, provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around less than 1 km from Corran Halls.

Such a well thought out holiday rental for 2. Everything is pristine clean and comfortable. Plenty of space , kitchen well equipped, milk and orange juice in fridge, some brioche, porridge and biscuits for breakfast, a kind gesture from Fiona the owner. Parking at the front of the cottage and a deck with table and chairs to enjoy the sun at the rear. Easy walk into town (10-15 min) from the back garden path. Lovely peaceful area but accessable to all Oban has to offer. We would love to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!!

Beautiful cosy property. Food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Particular shout out to the two chaps and young girl in the restaurant (I’m sorry I’m bad with names!) who were wonderful with my son.

Lovely hotel in an idyllic and peaceful location very much geared to relaxation. There are wonderful views of Loch Awe, and of the distant hills. Food is excellent, and there's a lovely cosy bar with staff who are knowledgeable about whisky! The staff are a great team who are friendly and attentive but not overbearing. It's just a wonderful chilled place to stay, and to see the beauty of the west coast of Scotland.
